Program Overview: An Academic–Industry Program
This program is a highly selective academic–industry collaboration designed to enhance, not replace, existing college and university curricula. Participating institutions gain access to professional-grade facilities, emerging technologies, and industry expertise through a structured course of study operated by The International Film Institute of New York and Great Point Studios.
By joining the program, colleges and universities are able to extend their academic reach, enrich student learning, and strengthen career pathways in film, media, and related disciplines.

• Students may register independently or through their home institution’s program.
• Class size limited to 16 students per course, supporting high-touch instruction and hands-on learning.
• Courses meet weekly in assigned teaching spaces throughout Great Point Studios.
• Credit options available for an additional cost via The University of Mount Saint Vincent.
